Getting started

Ray is your personal AI health coach, and he lives inside Telegram. No separate app to install, no dashboard to learn — you just chat. This page walks you through everything from finding the bot to logging your first meal.

Before you start

You need:

  • Telegram on your phone (or desktop — both work).
  • About two minutes for the initial setup.

That’s it. No credit card for the trial.

Set up Ray

  1. Open Ray in Telegram.

    Search for the bot by its handle, or follow the link from the website. Tap Start (or send /start in the chat).

  2. Start your free trial.

    You’ll see a short intro. Tap ✓ Start free trial to begin a 7-day trial — no card required. Ray then runs you through 3 short tips so you know what he can do.

  3. Set up your profile (recommended).

    Ray will offer to walk you through your profile right after the trial starts. It takes about a minute and covers:

    • Your goal (lose fat, maintain, gain muscle, or custom)
    • Sex, birth date, height, weight
    • Your typical activity level

    Better profile = sharper advice. You can skip this and set it up later from 👤 Profile → 🎯 Goal.

Log your first meal

You have three ways to log anything you eat or drink:

📷 Photo

Snap a meal and send it. Ray reads the photo and logs the nutrition automatically.

🎙️ Voice note

Record yourself describing what you ate. Same accuracy as text.

💬 Plain text

Just type it: “Two scrambled eggs on toast with butter.”

Talk to Ray

Once you’ve logged a few meals, ask anything. Ray reads what you actually saved — he never invents numbers.

Things you can try:

  • “Did I hit my protein today?”
  • “How many calories so far?”
  • “What did I eat yesterday?”
  • “Suggest a high-iron dinner under 600 kcal.”
  • “Give me a morning review.” — yesterday’s full day, what went well, what to improve.

Ray also remembers stable facts about you across conversations. Just tell him:

  • “Remember I’m lactose intolerant.”
  • “Remember I train 4× a week, mostly hypertrophy.”
  • “Remember I’m pregnant.”

He’ll factor those into every future answer — including elevated micronutrient awareness when relevant.

What’s next?

  • Open 👤 Profile and check your daily targets — Ray uses them when you ask about progress.
  • Try a morning review: send “morning review” and Ray summarizes yesterday with one or two things to focus on today.
  • Connect a wearable to send activity and sleep data to Ray automatically — Apple Health for iPhone/Apple Watch, or WHOOP for a one-tap connect with HRV and recovery.
  • If something feels off or you want to give feedback, ⚙️ Settings → 📨 Contact sends a message straight through to the team.
