Sleep & recovery

Once you’ve connected a data source — Apple Health or WHOOP — Ray sees your sleep and cardiovascular data, and can use it when you ask how you’re doing, or whether to push hard today. If you wear a WHOOP band, connecting it directly is what gets Ray your HRV — WHOOP holds HRV back when it syncs to Apple Health, so the direct connection is the only way Ray sees it.

What you can say

  • “How did I sleep last night?”
  • “What’s my HRV trend this week?”
  • “Am I recovered enough to train hard today?”
  • “How’s my resting heart rate looking?”
  • “I feel tired — can you check my recovery?”

What you’ll see back

A plain-language read on your sleep duration, your resting heart rate, and your HRV — compared to your own baseline, not population averages.

Heads up

Ray won’t diagnose anything from this data. If something looks clinically off, he’ll point you to a doctor.
